We recently visited Patara Fine Thai Cuisine and had a mixed experience. The food was absolutely excellent: beautifully presented, authentic, and full of flavor. The interior design and the surrounding area are also very nice. However, the service definitely needs improvement. We arrived about 30 minutes later than our reservation due to heavy city traffic. The staff member at the entrance seemed quite angry about our late arrival and expressed his frustration openly. This was surprising, especially since the restaurant was almost completely empty, only two tables were occupied. He continued to complain until I mentioned that the reservation was not that important to us and that we could simply leave and have lunch elsewhere. Only then did he escort us to our table, though he did so while clearly looking offended. Overall, the cuisine and ambiance were wonderful, but the welcoming experience left an unpleasant impression. I hope the restaurant will work on improving their customer service, as the kitchen truly deserves better. Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5
