Placed ala carte order at 115pm. 8 items placed but at 235 only 3 items served despite multiple appeals to speed up and giving polite reminder to the service crew. They also seemed uninterested to talk to us. Apparently the kitchen is unable to keep up or it’s a ploy to restrict the number of orders for buffet. We came for ala carte items but seems like they gave us lower priority.This place despite a good name and reputation has just decided not to maintain it. I Strongly suggest not to patronize. There are better restaurants with better service out there. Oh they also did not bring out the Peking duck but instead prepared in kitchen so we have no idea whether it came from one duck or just taken from scraps.normally I would not have made a fuss but today I had to wait 1.5 hours for a bowl of steam rice for my hungry child . Something is gravely wrong. The general public deserves to know the standard of this restaurant and their attitude to paying customers. Stay clear. Update : just before we made payment, we asked to give our feedback to the manager Mr Pang Ze Jun. He spoke to us rudely in a nonchalant tone and didn’t maintain any eye contact, instead he just quickly told the cashier to give us 20% discount on 2 items and quickly walked away. We are appalled by his behavior! The point is, the manager Pang represents the restaurant. No matter what, he knows for sure the place is wrong as they could not cope, without a sincere single apology. All 8 of us were certain there is no sorry or “对不起” . This place does not deserve to be in service and Mr Pang certainly does not deserve to be in customer service for sure Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–40 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Peach Garden à la carte buffet is truly value for money! Every dish we tried was delicious — we especially loved the crispy roast pork, fresh deep-fried sea bass, and flavourful prawn dishes, plus the desserts were a perfect finish. Service was excellent too; all staff were warm, attentive, and very friendly. It made our birthday celebration absolutely wonderful. Highly recommended for great food and a pleasant dining experience! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We visited Peach Garden @ The Metropolis this evening for a family birthday celebration and were looking forward to a pleasant dining experience. The food quality was generally average to good — nothing outstanding, but acceptable for an a la carte buffet, especially at 50% off discount. However, we were quite disappointed with the service. One of the dessert, the mung bean cake, tasted sour even though it is supposed to be sweet. We suspected it might have gone bad. When we highlighted this to the staff, she just took it away and mentioned they would replace it. Another staff also admitted that the mung bean cake might have gone bad due to hot weather. We waited quite a while and followed up 2–3 times, but eventually a waiter came over and told us there was no more mung bean cake. There was no proper apology, and instead of offering an alternative cake as a replacement, he simply asked whether we wanted to order something else since it was already last order. This left us feeling rather uneasy and dismissive, especially given the situation and potential food safety issue. What added to our disappointment was discovering, as we were leaving, that many other tables received complimentary osmanthus jelly cakes. Only then did we noticed a small sign on another table stating that customers who left a 5-star review would be given the osmanthus jelly cake. This was never communicated to us at any point during the meal. Overall, the experience could have been much better. The restaurant should improve its food & service quality, attentiveness, and communication with customers. Small gestures and clear information make a big difference, especially during special occasions like family celebrations. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40
