I had a very disappointing experience with Pelynoobakes. I placed my order well in advance for delivery on Jan 16, but at the last minute they informed me that one flavour (salted egg) was delayed and insisted on postponing my entire order to Jan 19. I repeatedly explained that I only needed the remaining items first, but they kept replying with scripted messages and refused to split the delivery — even though they admitted the rest of my items were in stock. Their customer service was slow, unhelpful, and didn’t take any initiative to resolve the issue. I even offered to pick up or arrange my own courier, but they still declined. It felt like they were just following a rigid “policy” instead of actually listening to the customer. Ended up without my CNY goodies in time for my gathering. Very poor communication and service recovery. Would not recommend ordering here if you need reliability or flexibility. Price per person: $90–100 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Over promise and under deliver for CNY 2026 bakes. Timeline of events: - Ordered from TT livestream on 2 Jan with a guaranteed delivery date of 10 Jan. - The team informed on 5 Jan that delivery will be pushed to 15 Jan as some items were not ready, which was disappointing as some snacks were meant for gifting to friends during that period but still understandable. - I found out through their TT live on 11 Jan that the cny bakes are finally here and those who ordered could get their items on 13 Jan. I wrote in to request if I can now receive my bakes earlier, but it wasn’t possible. - On 14 Jan evening got a last minute notice at night that delivery will be further pushed to 19 Jan. - Immediately responded to them and explicitly mentioned will need the items on 15 Jan, and to be given the option to refund item that was not ready. - On 15 Jan still no updates and MIA. While understandably the team is more busy, but very poor customer handling and have to wait typically 2-3 days to get a reply via WhatsApp. Also tried reaching out to them via TT livestream comments but just got scrolled past and not addressed, tried IGDM but was ignored on that platform too. I’ve wrote in to the team to share my disappointment as I’ve been ordering from their TT live stream for past couple of months ever since I found them. I also gave the team credit when it’s due - I’ve previously DM them positive feedback about their lactation bakes and shared photos with them. As much as I try to support local business, this whole CNY order experience is just appalling and will be the last time I order anything from them. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We’d like to clarify that the CNY snacks mentioned were not produced by us, and the delays were due to a shipment issue that was unfortunately beyond our control. That said, we fully acknowledge that our communication during this period could have been better, and we sincerely apologise for the disappointment caused. As the items were time-sensitive and you were unable to wait further, we have proceeded to cancel the order and a full refund has been made to you. I had ordered 8 boxes nutella tarts but received 7. Sent me a picture and said they had packed 8. Asked to check with courier but no response. Disappointing service. Food: 3 Service: 1
