On April 25, 2026, just before the drone show at Gwangalli Beach, we stopped by Pendejo Restaurant for a quick bite and it turned out to be one of the best Mexican meals we’ve had. The mushroom tacos were standout full of flavor and cooked just right. The tostadas came out fresh and perfectly crunchy, and the spicy chicken wings had a great kick without being overwhelming. Sitting at the bar right in front of the kitchen made it even better—we could see everything being made fresh on the spot. The staff really made the experience. Friendly, welcoming, and easy to talk to, we even had a nice chat with the chef, which added a personal touch. Great food, great energy, and a perfect location by Gwangalli Beach.
