Our first visit to this Chinese restaurant for yum cha with my parents started off on a rocky note. We arrived at 10:45 for our 11:00 booking but were told the table wasn’t ready, so we took a short walk. Upon returning, we were seated promptly. The ambiance was pleasant, with comfortable seating and a clean environment. However, the experience took a turn when a staff member loudly used foul language while grumbling with a coworker backstage for quite a while. It was clearly audible, and though another staff member eventually intervened, it left a sour impression. The food was decent—hot and reasonably prepared—but nothing exceptional. Service was average, neither outstanding nor particularly lacking. While the environment and food were acceptable, the unprofessional behavior of the staff overshadowed the experience.
