Despite not being our original choice to eat at, Peperoni Pizzeria was by no means a downgrade. We went on a Saturday evening and were told the wait would around 30 mins, but within 10 mins, we were already seated, thanks to the extremely efficient and friendly service staff. Peperoni Pizzeria has a plethora of options of pizzas to choose from, from classics like the Burrata and Prosciutto Pizza to unique ones such as the crispy bacon and potato pizza, oth of which we tried. The Burrata and Prosciutto Pizza came with a generous portion of prosciutto, arugula and a whole Burrata ball. The salty prosciutto went together perfectly with the rich and creamy Burrata cheese, making for a lovely bite. The crust was thin, and not oily or greasy at all, thanks to the wood-firing process. The arugula helped to provide freshness and made the whole pizza very enjoyable to eat. When paired with the chilli flakes provided at your table, this is easily one of the best pizzas we have had. The bacon and potato pizza was a very unique and interesting flavour, and to our surprise it worked. The salty, crispy bacon and the crispy outside, soft inside potato chunks, along with the fried egg on top, made this pizza a unique and delicious one. There was also a wide variety of pastas available, with the standard shapes like spaghetti and penne, to more special types such as Strozzapreti, a spiral shaped, elongated, doughy bite. When paired with the creamy white sauce and the tender duck confit, along with the peppery aroma from the crushed black peppers that were in the dish, the Cacio E Pepe was a wonderful, hearty dish. The carbonara was creamy and rich too, with a hefty portion of fatty and salty guanciale, a premium Italian cured meat made from pork jowl. The drinks options were also substantial, including milkshakes and ice lemon tea, all homemade. Overall, with the great food, wonderful atmosphere, and kind and efficient service staff, Peperoni Pizzeria is definitely a must-visit for anyone into pizzas and pastas. We often go to Suntec City for dinner but for some reason we have never tried this place until today, perhaps due to a craving for pizza. We were pleasantly surprised with the food. We had two large pizza (this is actually the medium size - the largest one is a whopping 32”) between 3 which was satisfying. The base is thin and the topping generous and therefore had a lot of flavours. Had fried chicken wings as well which had a crispy batter but hardly any oil. Washed down well with the Menabrea! The weekday menus looked interesting so may return to try that another day! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
