Today, I stopped by a fantastic noodle shop known for its delicious Yen Ta Fo Tom Yum (Thai style Yong Tau Foo). It’s called Pha Muk Restaurant (ป้ามุกเชียงแสน) and it’s located on the B1 floor of the Golden Mile Tower building. They have many interesting dishes, but you absolutely have to try their Yen Ta Fo Tom Yum. It’s incredibly tasty with lots of crunchy squid, and the broth is the perfect pink color. I also tried the fermented pork khao kua (roasted rice), which was just okay. But the Yen Ta Fo is a must-have. There are many other dishes I want to try, like the Khanom Jeen (rice noodle) with crab curry. Next time for sure. The shop is open every day from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., except Wednesdays.
