Phoenix Restaurant & Beach Bar is located in a beautiful spot right on the beach. There’s plenty of space, lots of tables available, and the overall setting is very relaxing. The chairs are quite hard though a few cushions would make the experience much more comfortable. The food is decent and the menu is surprisingly extensive, with reasonable prices. The smoothies are okay too, not bad, but not particularly memorable either. Overall, this place could easily have been a solid 4-star experience for me. So why 2 stars? The service. I visited three days in a row, and every single day felt uncomfortable. On the first day, there was no hello, no goodbye, the woman taking the order only repeated what I ordered and that was it. I thought maybe she was just having a bad day. The second day: again no greeting, no interaction whatsoever. It genuinely felt like I wasn’t welcome there. By the third day, it became impossible to ignore. Still no basic friendliness, no “hello,” no “thank you,” no “see you later.” I honestly found it bizarre and unnecessarily cold. I’m always polite and respectful to staff wherever I go, which made the experience even stranger. Maybe it’s just the atmosphere there, maybe it’s because I’m a farang, who knows. But unfortunately, I won’t be coming back. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: ฿200–400

Worst hamburger and pizza ever had in my life service was incredibly rude and cold the hamburger was as tough as leather and the bun must have been at least weeks old that pizza was about the same horrible
