Honestly, never again, because the good restaurant is right next door, and if this one has few reviews, there's a reason, and actually, not just one. The atmosphere is already grim, the welcome is terrible, and the food is average, and it's a real shame. As I leave, the owner, slumped on a chair, his eyes glued to his phone, looks up and sees that it's a foreigner, not even a smile, not even a word, nothing. It's because of this kind of attitude that tourists avoid the country. I've been coming to Thailand since 2011 and I try to communicate in Thai and it generally goes well, at least for numbers, but the boss's son, although smiling at first, doesn't seem to appreciate it... In short, a very bad experience. If you come around 8 p.m. (they close at 9 p.m.), you'll see a full restaurant (the one all made of wood) and this one that just deserves to be sold to a family who loves this work. However, the freshness of the products is there, which is fortunate for a restaurant on the water in a fishing town. The crab curry deigns to be in the water, the crab fried rice is bland and gives the impression of industrial rice like the trays at 7eleven, the sole is grilled, it looks like toast that has been in the toaster too long. In short, it's really sad. The prices are reasonable, especially the wine, but it remains too expensive for the quality of the service overall. I sincerely hope that this review will make you realize what separates you from your neighbor and that you understand how privileged you are to have such a beautiful waterfront property in an idyllic setting, a superb little town, and in an extraordinary country. It's up to you to be happy and kind. Chokdee krap PS: we did the restaurant proud with a fairly reasonable bill, so nothing justified such a lack of attention.
