Every dish was a hit. They bring out the umami of every dish so well. I usually don’t like prawns but even their prawns I thoroughly enjoyed. The duck is amazing too. The steak is easily one of the best I’ve ever had. Amazing steak and great service! Got the Picanha steak with chimichurri sauce, mentaiko prawn, truffle beans and Plus 65. We even got a complimentary birthday ice cream. What an amazing dining experience! From the moment AJ casually mentioned the steak special as we walked past, to watching Chefs Annie, Raju and Sanjay cooking our steak and barrumundi, to the amazing way that Salsita, Dipka and AJ looked after us throughout our meal... it was a AAA-dining experience from start to finish (albeit I was so full afterwards that I was struggling to walk) Could not recommend Picanhas' highly enough... it easily amongst some of the best steak I've had anywhere during my travels, and with the layout of the restaurant, having to opportunity to watch the chefs cook your meal and seeing the amount of pride they take in preparing every part of the meal with such pride and attention to detail is fantastic. Definitely give this place a go if you're in the area, and as an added bonus - there's an awesome gastropub (Yardley Brothers) with some awesome and unique beers on tap just around the corner for pre or post-dinner drinks!
