After this experience Piccola Roma Palace will be on my "return list" for every Chiang Mai trip. The whole experience is really superb from the room decor, the menu, the table setting, the staff and most of all the food. We started with a large salad and some smoked salmon with all the trimmings. Followed by the best Lasagne I have ever tasted for me ,with my wife having the Pasta Ragu. Dessert was a truly amazing Tiramisu. And accompanying this was an excellent bottle of Chianti followed by a complimentary Limoncello.
What made this visit amazing however is the story about Chef Angelo and his wife Marisa setting up over 21 years ago. Sadly the Chef is now serving customers in the Sky however due to his foresight the legacy lives on with his long serving assistant chefs producing amazing food to his exact recipes.
So please support her and taste her husbands truly amazing italian food. It's a Chiang Mai MUST!
