I'm starting off by saying BEST PIE IN KOREA. I can say this reasonably confidently as I've lived here for over 2 years, have travelled up and down the country and honestly nowhere makes a pie with the same quality and love as here. Second. The guys running it are so friendly that they welcome you in and make you feel at home immediately. The pies though.. The pies. I've been here three times now... Yes, I like a pie! The pies have a proper homemade crust and are positively stuffed. The fillings always contain a lot of meat. Though equally my wife is vegetarian (not easy in Korea!) and she's always been more than happy to come back here! Oh and the mash and gravy hit the spot too. Final consideration should also be given towards their lamb chops. Thick, slightly smoky, perfectly cooked. Absolute top notch. I can happily say this restaurant would put many pie shops in the UK to shame with their quality. So if you're in Seoul and want something a little different, I'd recommend Pie Republic for sure. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₩20,000–30,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Lamb Pie & Pepper Steak Pie, Lamb Chop Vegetarian options: Yes. Vegetarian pie and vegetarian sausage roll. Plus sides are vegetarian as well.
