Loveeee all the breads because the brioche dough is done so well!!! I love how buttery it is whilst still having a chew and bite to it. Pineapple bun with actually crunchy top off good but pls get it fresh with a slab of unsalted butter!!! Really makes it. Cocktail bun definitely the underdog, love the roasted coconut filling with brown butter. The pandan version too is absolutely incredible with smooth creamy pandan and so generously filled!! Raisin bun too I was surprised by, that amazing brioche with a sweet sticky caramel glaze and juicy generous raisins. A highlight and paired with the classic cha chaan tang milk tea, extra smooth due to the nitro pump. Delicious! Meal type: Other Price per person: $1–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

What a letdown for the Pineapple Bun from Pineapple Bakery. I’d say it’s a great example of strong social media promotion — but sadly, the bun itself doesn’t live up to the hype. The texture is dry, and the sweetness feels flat and one-dimensional. I can’t help but think that many of the rave reviews are influenced more by social media trends than by the actual quality of the bun. Perhaps they just haven’t tasted a truly good one yet.
