Pizzicotto is a small Italian restaurant and takeaway run by Cesare, with a simple but very well-chosen menu. They do not try to offer dozens of dishes; instead, they focus on a few authentic Italian specialties and prepare them properly. You can choose from pizza, a few pasta dishes, salads, beef fillet and beef tartare. The lasagna, in particular, is absolutely delicious and undoubtedly one of the highlights of the menu. Some restaurants succeed mainly because they are in a great location. Others, like Pizzicotto, deserve to succeed because they combine the quality of the ingredients and the food with the friendliness, passion and availability of the person running the business. Cesare is always welcoming, attentive and genuinely helpful, making customers feel at home from the moment they arrive. Pizzicotto is an informal and honest place where the quality of genuine Italian food speaks for itself. Highly recommended, both for dining in and for takeaway. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
