平日のお昼頃、テラス席でベリーのフレンチトーストとロングブラックをいただきました。 フレンチトーストは勿論のこと、コーヒーの美味しさに驚きました。 コーヒーだけでも、また飲みに来たいと思えるお店でした。. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $20–30

元旦は開いてないお店が多い中ここだけ空いてました！友達と訪店。珈琲美味しかったです！ケーキを食べたかったのですが、アプリで注文している最中に売り切れ( ﾟДﾟ)人気のようですね。いつかまた食べに訪れたいです。落ち着いたお店なのでゆっくりできます。大人にもおススメできます。. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in

My friends and I had a very frustrating experience at Plain Vanilla Tiong Bahru today, on New Year’s Eve. Ordering was already an issue from the start. We were required to order through the QR system, but the system itself was unreliable. Some of us could only use Apple Pay or Google Pay, while some of my friends couldn’t even access the payment button at all. The system clearly wasn’t working properly, which made ordering unnecessarily stressful. I ordered an orange juice, but it never arrived. After waiting for a long time, I had to walk up to ask about it myself, and it only came about 30 minutes after ordering. For a drink, this is unacceptable. Furthermore, despite multiple staff members on the floor, no one checked on our table during this time. Food service was extremely slow as well. By the time I finished eating, one of my friends still hadn’t received her main, and the rest of us spent most of the meal waiting. When we asked about the delays, we were told there was only one chef on duty. While that may explain the slow service, it was New Year’s Eve, and the café wasn’t even full. This lack of preparation was disappointing, especially on a day when higher traffic should be expected. For a table of 6 who experienced repeated delays, the compensation was only 2 cupcakes, which didn’t feel adequate. We were seated outdoors because indoor tables were full, but the outdoor tables were in poor condition. One table was unstable, and part of the tabletop was already loose, which affected both comfort and safety. Overall, the broken ordering system, long waits, and lack of attentiveness made this a very disappointing experience. I’m unlikely to return. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

What you described definitely falls far below the standard of service we strive to uphold and sincerely apologise for the many delays and the frustration you experienced. We thought to share that our store had unfortunately experienced a major power outage the day before your visit due to a blown fuse box. We wanted to persist to open the following day so we could support customers who had planned to visit instead of closing off the store completely. However, the outage had stunted our usual access to services like our in-store WiFi connection, which led to a series of operational challenges that caused the delays you and your group experienced that day. These unforeseen circumstances all contributed to a busy day for our team; however, we do recognise that extra care and initiative should have been taken to improve the dining experience for our customers, and apologise once again for failing to meet your expectations with this visit.
