Spread is decent for the price point, came here for the lunch 1 for 1 buffet. Just wanted to highlight your service staff David! He attended to us, recommended the best dishes, even helped to reheat my bolo bun/made the muah chee for us thumbs up for service! Everyone was attentive, kept clearing our plates and making sure we’re okay. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $40–50 Recommended dishes: Muah Chee

Lunch buffet at Plate restaurant in Carlton city hotel was quite good. There’s sashimi and Hong Kong dim sum. Can take away the slice birthday cake.

I visited Plate Restaurant last Friday(9 Oct 26) to celebrate a birthday, and overall, it was a pleasant dining experience. The buffet spread was good, although I was a little disappointed that fresh oysters were not available. I had seen them featured in the TikTok reel, which was one of the main reasons I decided to dine here, so I was looking forward to trying them. On the positive side, the restaurant thoughtfully provided a complimentary birthday cake, which was a lovely gesture. The manager in charge and the staff were also very attentive, helpful and professional throughout the experience. This level of customer service is becoming increasingly rare these days, and it really made a difference to our celebration. Thank you to the team for the excellent coordination and warm hospitality. While I hope to see the fresh oysters available on my next visit, I truly appreciate the effort and service provided by the team.
