The atmosphere here is great and the food is pretty good though it seems rather overrated to me. I’ve been a tonkatsu lover for fifty years and have lived in Japan for ten and here in Korea for a while. This is a good, solid offering but it seems that the magic is lost due to the overly high ratio of breadcrumbs to meat, obscuring the delicate flavor and texture of black pork. I had the pho set, and while the pho broth was tasty and it made a nice complement to the meal, the pho certainly doesn’t come close to resembling the pho we were used to eating in Vietnam. Nonetheless, it’s a nice place with good food and we’re likely to return when we come back to live here as it’s one of the best places we’ve found for lunch in the immediate neighborhood. Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: No vegetarian options.
