Craving for bakso and this place is famous for having good bakso. Bakso has lots of different varieties for the toppings inside and the noodles that comes with it. Definitely not the exact bakso I usually have back home but it was decent. They offer add on noodles for free and very spicy broth option. Hands down the best bakso I’ve had in Taiwan—and I’ve tried quite a few. The meatballs are delicious, and the soup is rich, flavorful, and not too oily, very close to what we have back in Indonesia. The price is reasonable, especially since you can top up the soup and noodles for free. (Just go back to the counter with your bowl and they happily top up the soup for you, you can also ask for more noodles if you're still hungry ) I ordered the Jumbo, which comes with one large meatball, eight smaller ones, and a piece of fried tofu—very satisfying. The chili sauce packs a good punch, and the addition of fried garlic is a nice touch. The gorengan is very affordable (NT$50 for three large pieces). They’re super crispy and not soggy at all, though a bit plain on their own. I recommend dipping them into the soup—that’s when they really shine. We visited on a Sunday and it was packed, but the line moved quickly. Most people eat and go, and many order takeout, so the wait wasn’t too long. The shop is also conveniently located near several parking spots and just a short walk from the train station. Overall, we loved it and it’ll definitely be our go-to spot whenever I’m craving a good bowl of bakso Oh, yes, there are only bakso on the menu, and they also sell a variety of Indonesian snacks.
