Ordered the pop corn chicken with parsley ish. Tasted meh too strong of parsley taste. Texture was OK for a popcorn chicken. Waited 15mins for a takeaway which is quite slow, accidentally spilled an order and informed them but they gave no response, might be due to the overwhelm work. Wouldn't recommend to return in the future

Popcorn Chicken King in Ximen (台灣鹽酥雞 西門直營店) is an excellent spot for classic Taiwanese street food with generous portions and great flavor. For my personal preference, it’s definitely bigger and tastier than Xin Fu Tang’s fried chicken, making it a standout choice in the busy Ximending area. The shop itself is spacious compared to many street stalls, which makes ordering and waiting more comfortable. There is usually a line, especially during peak hours, but the wait is not long and moves efficiently. The staff works quickly, so you can enjoy your food without spending too much time standing around. Once you get your order, the quality really speaks for itself. The popcorn chicken is crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and well-seasoned, making it incredibly satisfying with every bite. What makes this place even better is the wide variety of selections beyond popcorn chicken. From fried vegetables to other classic Taiwanese snacks, there’s something for everyone, whether you’re snacking solo or sharing with friends. Overall, Popcorn Chicken King Ximen is a must-try for visitors who want flavorful, comforting street food with good portions and a smooth ordering experience.
