We had a four-course lunch menu, and the portions were generous. Loved the main and middle courses! Looking forward to seeing improved appetizers and desserts next time. The servers all had brilliant smiles and provided excellent service. The weather was lovely when we visited, but it might get a bit too sunny on a scorching day. Of the many events we host in Hong Kong, this was our first time working with the team at Popinjays. At The Ortus Club, we coordinate numerous bespoke corporate functions annually, and we found The Aviary Room to be a fantastic space for an executive luncheon. The floor-to-ceiling windows filled the room with natural light, making our session feel more awake, which was a great change of pace for our guests. The food presentation was excellent and definitely added a touch of prestige, ensuring the professional atmosphere was maintained throughout the meal. We often plan events for finance and legal sector clients who often go to and from their offices to secluded function rooms, so our team at Ortus found that having exclusive access to the Aviary terrace was a standout feature, offering a sophisticated backdrop and the privacy our guests truly appreciate. One honest bit of feedback for those planning C-suite meetings in Central: since the room is situated right beside the main dining area, a fair amount of noise does bleed through; something to note for those who require a completely silent private room for sensitive discussions. Another suggestion would be to have a bit more presence from the onsite staff during the setup phase to ensure any quick changes are addressed smoothly before guests arrive.
