This congee is top notched and this is why. Broth used is definitely painstakingly prepared my guess either using chicken or pork bone base. Texture of the congee is just nice, having still the rice grains but yet delicately smooth. The specially prepared crispy you tiao is what you find in Imperial Treasue or Crystal Jade. Solid! I see many reviews saying the boss is extremely rude. Today for me it is totally untrue. Boss was ok even when I changed my order and was polite all throughout. $3.20 for a semi fine dining congee. I have eaten extensively and a regular at Lei Garden, 粥师父 hands down win on cost quality ratio, 性价比超高！ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

It's best to bring cash! Otherwise, you'll get yelled at. If you don't want to get yelled at in the morning, you should be prepared to be. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Breakfast

This is actually my third trip here. The previous 2 times they were closed. Decided to try my luck this time round and glad they were open. Heard alot good reviews and decided to give this stall a try. They have 7 different type of porridge to choose from with prices starting from SGD3.20 onwards. I choose the lean pork and century egg porridge which was SGD3.70. Portion of the porridge was generous and comes with lots of fried you tiao. The porridge has a thick texture. Good flavours as well. It comes with generous amount of century egg and pork. I love the contrast of texture of the you tiao in the porridge. Overall, the bowl of porridge was hearty and substential. Would definitely recommend. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $1–10 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
