My partner and I recently enjoyed the spectacular 16-course "Globe Trotter" tasting menu at Wine Cellar in Jomtien Plaza, and it was one of the most memorable dining experiences we have had in Pattaya. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere set the tone for an elegant evening. The restaurant strikes a perfect balance between sophistication and comfort, with attentive service and beautiful presentation. The "Globe Trotter" menu truly lived up to its name, taking us on a culinary journey across continents. The evening began with refined appetizers including the rich Duck Liver Pâté, delicate Tuna Tartar, flavorful Roast Beef Rolls, and a wonderfully fresh Grilled Vegetable Wrap. Each course was beautifully plated and perfectly portioned, allowing us to savor every bite without feeling overwhelmed. The Brie Cheese Salad was a standout starter, combining creamy cheese, crisp bacon, caramelized apple, and truffle honey dressing into a perfect harmony of flavors. The Salmon Cocktail added a touch of classic elegance with its creamy whiskey-cocktail sauce and caviar garnish. The soup selections showcased impressive versatility. The refreshing Cucumber Gazpacho had a little zing, while the Creamy Mushroom Soup delivered deep earthy flavors enhanced by truffle oil. The Chicken Vegetable Consommé demonstrated that even the simplest dishes can be exceptional when prepared with care. The main courses continued to impress. The Chicken Shashlik was tender and flavorful, while the Prawn Croquette delivered a satisfying crunch paired beautifully with saffron aioli. The Dutch-style Hachee was made of slow-cooked Black Angus beef that was fork-tender and rich with deep, comforting flavors. The curried Catfish with Mediterranean couscous and creamy harissa sauce offered a creative and delicious fusion of cuisines. Dessert provided a perfect finale. The Mango Éclair was light, tropical, and refreshing made with fresh manago chunks, while the homemade Stracciatella ice cream was wonderfully creamy with just the right amount of chocolate. The International Cheese Plate offered a sophisticated ending for those who prefer something savory. What impressed us most was the consistency. Across sixteen different dishes, there wasn't a single course that felt like filler. Every plate had a purpose, every flavor combination worked, and every course demonstrated the skill and creativity of the kitchen. The pacing was excellent, allowing us to enjoy the entire experience without feeling rushed. For food lovers visiting Jomtien, this is exactly the type of dining experience worth seeking out. Whether you're a wine enthusiast, a fan of international cuisine, or simply someone who appreciates exceptional food and service, Poseidon's Wine Cellar delivers an evening that feels truly special. Poseidon Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone seeking a German fine dining experience. The atmosphere is incredibly elegant, making it perfect for a special night out. I absolutely loved the Fondue. They offer a fantastic selection of high-quality meats, including pork, chicken, and beef, paired with an excellent variety of delicious dips. The owner, Heiko, is a great guy who makes you feel truly welcome. Highly recommended! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ฿400–600
