New to the cafe game, Praktik is here to take over your favorite brunch spot in Gaeksa.The almond cream latte was rich and anything but delicate. There was a nice sweet nuttiness at the front with only a mellow hint of coffee.The egg croissant sandwich was an interesting mix of micro greens , mayo based dressing, apples and egg seated on a croissant. It is on the sweeter side and served at room temperature. The croissant has a nice flake and structure but one always hopes for a hot, fresh croissant. This also comes with a nice side of fruit (slices of kiwi, banana, and apple).The tomato mozzarella toast was a show stealer. Normally it comes with prosciutto, but without it, this toast has a wonderful pesto with some nice cherry tomatoes. The toast itself is a rather underwhelming choice of white bread, but all together it's a satisfying dish.The interior is open and rather blank right now but it looks classy enough and the windows and white walls give great lighting.This is one of the better brunch cafe offerings in this area. If for no other reason, treat yourself to the almond cream latte.
