Press Coffee Bar is a tiny gem in the printing district not far from Chungmuro station and Euljiro Sam Ga station. As you head to the takeaway-only shop, walk slow and enjoy the bustle of the workday happening around you. Owned and operated by a fantastic barista, you'll find a shortlist of classic coffee shop drinks including lattes and americanos (hot or iced, of course!), with milk alternatives like soymilk (두유) and/or oatmilk. On top of that, you can pick up a gluten free brownie or cheesecake or, later in the morning, vegan biscotti (perfect for dunking in your latte). The owner is happy to chat while you wait, and she speaks both English and Korean (and maybe more!). Frequented by folks who work in the area, you might even meet the owner of a nearby restaurant. Instead of going to Starbucks, make a point to drop by and support an independent business owner!
