Press the Button is situated at the corner of Ki Lung St. and Wong Chuk St. in Sham Shui Po. It is operated by the same team that runs the Midway Shop next door. Opening hours are 12.30pm to 7pm daily at this tiny coffee stand that specialises in strong flavoured Japanese coffee. An espresso taken recently at Press the Button was bold, vibrant and overall quite good. Be patient while trying to get in and order, there is standing room inside for only 2-3 people and the barista hand makes each coffee so it takes more time than run of the mill coffee shops. Will try a white coffee next time to see if it measures up as well. Note: The Midway shop next door is pretty neat as well, worth a quick pop-in before or after enjoying a cup of coffee from Press the Button. This is a tasteful lifestyle shop with interesting Made in Japan items that are interesting to see.
