Celebrated my wife's birthday with a group of close friends. Li-Ann and Soong were excellent hosts as they opened up their home to our party of 8. The Thai-themed seafood spread was paired with asian herbs and vegetables. It was a feast for the senses. Will try try their other offerings when the opportunity arises. Absolutely LOVED our experience at Primateve. We came here as a family to celebrate my dad's and my birthday, and we enjoyed every bit of the dinner. Our hosts, Li-Ann and Song, were lovely and we had such a good time learning about them and their time in Japan. Their home was decorated with pieces of furniture from all the different places they've travelled and we enjoyed looking through them. As for the meal - every dish was sublime, so well-executed and the food was incredibly fresh and tasty. From sashimi to wagyu beef, every dish was bursting with flavour and texture. We also loved all the small touches - seeing videos of their time in Japan, having condiments that were from the specific island they visited, even simple things like shoyu sauce was prepared thoughtfully (we had bonito-infused shoyu and squid-infused shoyu!).
