Food was great at Yishun Bottle tree. Hence decided to give this branch a try. Did not even ordered anything. Not mentioning a family kitchen lack baby chairs. We reached at 5pm with no crowds and was denied big table by a very proud stall. Likely we looked too poor to afford your Zichar. Intentions were to seat babies with strollers so they are not in the way of customers.. Mood destroyed.. no matter how good the food will be. Settled for Caifan at the same coffee shop. Food was great and service was top-notched.

Service is good. Curry fish head gravy is not hot enough and a bit powdery. The fish head is small and not much meat. Fit for 2 pax. Not enough coconut milk I guess. 青龙菜 a bit salty with the 银鱼。 Price per person: $30–40

Tried Pung Pung Kitchen at Yishun 123 after noticing they opened near my place — didn’t hesitate, just chiong down to give it a try. I’ve actually eaten at their Sin Ming, East Coast, Bukit Batok and West Coast outlets before, so I already had high expectations. Glad to say they didn’t disappoint at all. Food was really solid as usual — tasty, consistent, and very value for money. Service was also good, and the food came out surprisingly fast even though it was quite crowded. Brought my extended family along this time and everyone enjoyed it a lot. No complaints at the table, only good feedback all around. Happy to have them in the neighbourhood now — definitely a regular spot for us moving forward. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
