Newly opened and wasn’t appearing on Google maps until today. Briefly (as no photos taken) my thoughts are thus; 1. Coffee (and this is after all, the most important element!) is very good and gets a vote of approval both for the Punthai Americano and Cappuccino 2. Cheese and ham toastie was small but tasty and representing very good value at 37 baht 3. Salt bread is also rather good 4. Soft white bread sandwich with egg and ham was ok But..! 5. Please, please, please - either bake your croissants fresh or please don’t bother selling them. We’ve been in twice now and had a butter croissant each time - after the first tasting we let the staff know that you can’t simply microwave a croissant and expect it to be ready to eat. Our constructive criticism seemed to be readily accepted but after trying again yesterday, they are still flat, stodgy, doughy and frankly urgh Another tip is to stick small pots of ham and / or marmalade to complement your otherwise plain pastries. The ambience is pleasant, the service is prompt, efficient snd friendly, everywhere is immaculately clean but this needs to be said - the cafe is grossly over air conditioned ! Furthermore, although it has several lovely big windows looking onto the main road outside, this offering what would be a perfect place to sit and watch the world go by, 3 huge window graphics almost completely block the view and frankly spoil the experience We’ll try the neighbouring Porto Cafe and the nearby Cafe Amazon shortly, so we can compare local coffee and snack options.
