It’s obvious the owner isn’t around. I clearly repeated multiple times that I need almond milk due to a sensitivity, yet I was still served regular milk. This kind of mistake can be dangerous. If the staff can’t handle orders properly, they should write them down instead of pretending they can remember everything. This is unacceptable and very disappointing. Half of internet sites do not open, vpn can´t connect. Royal eggs are with boiled grass - the dish wasn’t for me. Cafe has aircon and stylish design, although is situated on a side of a road, is closed by windows. Visited second time, and remember why I didn't like it firstly, the staff is rather rough. Dessert is served before food. The berries have fermented. It looks like they were defrosted a long time ago.

There is currently a local network outage in the area, and while one router is working, others are still affected, which may have caused the unstable connection. Pura Vida Café in Koh Phangan is a gem! Their açaí bowls, with amazing fruits, and the legendary tuna sandwich are perfectly crafted and full of flavor. The homemade bread and pastel de nata are divine, The coffee is top-notch, ideal for a morning pick-me-up, and their smoothies are refreshing in the tropical heat. The atmosphere is laid-back, with warm, welcoming staff who make you feel like family. Prices are reasonable, and portions are generous, offering great value. The café’s vibrant cozy vibe makes it a go-to for breakfast or lunch. My only regret? Not grabbing an extra pastel de nata to go! Whether you’re a local or a traveler, Pura Vida is a must-visit for delicious food and heartfelt hospitality. Highly recommend.
