Would come back for the ambience and amazing service! But also leaving this review so I remember the Hyderabad briyani is indeed underspiced and the rice wasn’t as fluffy as I liked - in fact, a little soggy. However the paneer was nice and creamy. They actually care about how the food tastes, so of course I said it was great. What do I know I’m not south asian but I do prefer my food spicier (as in more fenugreek, cumin etc). Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 20–30 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Tried their rawa thosai and masala chai. The chai was made with freshly ground spices, super yum. The rawa thosai was also crispy and delicious, with herbs in it. Lovely ambiance and a perfect place for lunch meetings. I'll be back!

Purani Dilli Restaurant is my favourite place in Singapore! The Jhinga Dum Biryani is always delicious — full of flavour and perfectly cooked. Special thanks to staff Ali for his excellent service. He is always friendly, attentive, and makes the dining experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place in Singapore for both delicious food and great hospitality.
