I booked a garden-view villa at Purin Resort and Restaurant expecting a relaxing stay with my family, but it turned out to be one of the worst experiences ever. • No Front Desk – There is no reception or front desk to assist you. If you need anything, good luck finding someone to help! You are on your own. • No Room Service – Don’t expect any room service. Once you check-in, you will not see them again. • Old and dirty room- Nothing looks like what you saw in the pictures that they uploaded on the website!!! The pool is filled with dead bugs, sunbeds are broken, Beach is covered in trash and black rocky sand. The room doors weren’t shut properly and all the bugs and mosquitoes were swamped in. We were eaten alive by mosquitoes that night even though we used lots of spray and cream. The manager Max was completely unhelpful and lacked basic hospitality skills. He seemed uninterested in addressing any concerns. • Rust and Mold on Everything – From the Walls, and bathroom fixtures to furniture, rust was everywhere. Maintenance is non-existent. • Cobwebs Everywhere – Every corner of the villa had cobwebs, making it feel dirty and abandoned. Not what you’d expect from a “resort.” • Misleading Location Info – They claim it’s only 15 km from Ao Nang, but it takes over an hour to get there due to poor roads and remote location. No Grab taxi service will take you as it's the middle of nowhere. Overall, this place is not worth the money and your peace of mind. We booked for 4 nights but left the place the next day as we couldn't bear the situation anymore. Don't bother asking for a refund as the manager will walk away before you finish your conversation with him. There are far better options in Krabi with actual hospitality and cleanliness. If could give minus points, I would. Avoid at all costs!
