Equil (or Pyeonghyeong 평형 in Korean) is a small café with a small menu. Their menu features a handful of coffee beans, teas and a few vegan snacks. As snacks, there are usually a couple of cookies or tiny savory quiches, all made on location. Gluten-free options are available, too. So far, I tried only one cookie here, which was soft and properly sweet in my opinion. I particularly enjoyed the coffee, as well as the serene and calming atmosphere. From the interior design to the handwritten menu and the selection of specialty coffee, the owners express a love for detail. Everything seems simple and minimalistic, yet chosen with care. From the outside, the café is inconspicuous and easy to overlook. There is no sign with the name on it, just an image of a scale ️ symbolizing the theme of the place: Balance.
