Still DA BEST in town! My first at Qiji Bugis but it's closed permanently there! Now you can try this halal local food just visit here! Big portions and best in taste! Extremely Unpleasant Experience at Qi Ji @ NTFGH Tower A I would like to formally raise a complaint regarding the unacceptable service I encountered during breakfast at Qi Ji located at NTFGH Tower A. I ordered nasi lemak and lontong, and when my order was ready, I went to the counter to collect it. As I wanted more chilli paste for my lontong, I politely requested it. However, the experience that followed was shockingly rude and unprofessional. When the Chinese lady staff heard my request, she simply walked off to attend to the cashier without acknowledging me at all. The male staff (see pic attached)in an orange-collared T-shirt (presumably a senior staff, as all other staff wore green-collared shirts) also heard my request but completely ignored me. I understand staff may be busy with packing orders, but what was unacceptable was that he did not even nod or verbally acknowledge my presence—he just continued working as if I wasn’t there. I eventually had to knock on the counter to get anyone’s attention. Only then did the female staff return to ask what I needed. The male staff then walked over and made two extremely rude remarks, spoken softly but sharply: “I am not a dead person.” and “I don’t have to turn around to acknowledge your request.” This level of disrespect is appalling, especially coming from someone who appears to hold a senior position. Basic courtesy and professionalism were completely absent. A simple “Please give me a moment” would have prevented this entire unpleasant exchange. I also want to highlight that I have been a regular customer at this outlet for a long time, and I clearly noticed that this is a new team. The previous team was never rude and consistently provided friendly, attentive service. This sharp decline in service standards is disappointing and unacceptable. This behaviour is not what customers should expect from any F&B establishment, let alone one in a hospital environment where patience, empathy, and professionalism should be the norm. I hope Qi Ji management takes this feedback seriously and ensures that staff—particularly senior staff—are retrained to uphold basic standards of courtesy and respect. This experience has left a very negative impression, and I sincerely hope corrective actions will be taken. Meal type: Breakfast Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
