I didn’t realize that even here in Singapore, it’s still possible to find a single large pot of food meant to serve four people. The portions are so generous that even though we tried our best, we simply couldn’t finish everything, and thankfully, we were able to pack the leftovers home. It’s rare these days to find a place that serves food in such abundance without compromising on taste or quality. The dishes were absolutely delicious—rich in flavor, comforting, and satisfying—and it’s clear that this restaurant has been doing things right for many, many years. The combination of hearty portions, excellent taste, and a long-standing reputation makes it a truly memorable dining experience, one that I would happily return to again and again. Always enjoyed this place in the neighbourhood but tried it again yesterday and the chicken quality which has always been a standout was no longer the same; It was not as tender and fresh like it used to be Side note, take it however you must but never realised till yesterday when my friend had to pay 60 cents for a small cup of water maybe 200ml worth max; like it just leaves a sour taste in your mouth even if you can afford it. On top of that, had a staff yelling out to her other staff member being like hey he took a cup of water write it down just right in front of us after we took the water felt a little odd. it’s never been anything like a fancy establishment and that’s okay but to charge 60 cents for water at a place like this felt wrong. That cup of water could have been free, it’s literally tap mate. but hey maybe just a bad day for em, would still go back whenever i’m feeling this chicken claypot but they got some loose ends to tie up. Food: 3
