This shop has been around for decades and little has changed in their recipes. The secret is to order it black with no chili. Sauce is really fresh lard + dark soy sauce. Soup is simply flavoured with ti por. If you want to know how wanton mee taste like in the 80s, 90, this is it.

Wanton mee sauce, char siew, wanton, soup are all nice and tasted rather old school. The only thing is that I prefer noodles are more springy thus not a fan of their noodles. Would be great if they can change to the HK style noodles but that would increase their cost I suppose. Overall it is worth trying. It will usually be sold out before their closing time. Friendly couple and portion is considered generous for the price. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: SGD 1–10 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
