Drinking fine coffee on the patio next to the canal and mangrove forest with the cool morning breeze and nothing but the sound of birds was a unique and intoxicating experience. The owner is friendly and polite, speaks English well and does a great job with the coffee. For just 55 baht you can get a great latte, or you can splurge on one of the many varietals on offer. For the special beans, he lets you smell the ground coffee before pulling the espresso, and If you get a milk coffee, he also gives you a little bit of the espresso so you can try it without milk, which is a very nice touch I’ve never seen done at another coffee shop.
