Popped into this cafe in Quarry Bay on a weekend – surprisingly no long queue like some places, but it was still pretty packed inside. The atmosphere is nice and cosy for a casual hangout. Pasta portions are generous and it came out piping hot which was great. Flavours were solid. But the croissant was a letdown, it was way too soft and lacked that flaky, buttery crunch you expect. Felt more like a soft bread roll than a proper croissant. Overall, food is okay and value is alright for the area, but it doesn’t have any real wow factor or unique dishes that would pull me back for a second visit. Rosie is that perfect neighborhood cafe which offers some good food with a cost environment . However the vegetarian options are very limited and the minimum wait is nearly 30 min. If the waiting time is improved and some good veg options added am sure it will be a great place to be! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $400–450 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
