More a “rabbit themed” cafe with a side of cruelty to 4 rabbits, rather than a “rabbit cafe”. We visited thinking there would be free roaming rabbits around what appeared to be garden lawns in online photos, but were shocked to see 4 rabbits caged in 4 miserable tiny cages. Ethical care 101: rabbits shouldn’t be caged just because they are cage sized. We then proceeded to see them being occasionally dragged out by a staff member to be placed into cramped 1m x 1m play pens, which children crowded but thankfully could not touch. As an owner of 3 free roaming rabbits at home, I was horrified to see how the staff manhandled each bunny (lifting from the front paws while in mid air) and taught her how to support the rabbit’s bottom. Put off, we left the cafe without ordering any thing. In any case, the cake selection was small, looked dry and mediocre. this was such a pity as there was so much space in the garden outside the cafe. instead of letting children play there, the area could be fenced up for the rabbits to free roam and live a good life. Children can then observe the rabbits without touching them. Feeling sad that 4 bunnies have to live their lives as caged prisoners in misery, while being taken advantage of. Don’t profit off a life while treating them cruelly. @Hotel Labaris, please do better. and @everyone else, please save your money if you’re thinking of coming. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
