Best Teppanyaki I’ve ever had! Everything was made with fresh, simple and high quality ingredients focusing on bringing out the food’s natural flavor without using heavy sauces and processed ingredients. It’s a memorable meal that satisfies all senses and good for the body too! No question will come back again! Food and service provided was excellent. The main chef clear explanation of the dishes & ways to consume elevated the dining experience. I would also like to commend the superb service of the staff that served us during the dining session on Apr 4th, 1930hrs. They were attention to detail & service oriented. Wow, what a great dining experience! Our meal at Rainbow Cloud capped off a 20-day vacation across Asia in the most spectacular way. We've enjoyed many memorable and special meals during our trip—including one dinner at a 1-star Michelin restaurant—but our evening at Rainbow Cloud was by far our favorite of the entire journey. Watching Mr. Chang Bo-zhi, our teppanyaki chef, meticulously prepare our meal was like watching an artist paint his masterpiece. Even though it was just my wife and me at the table, he was exact in his preparation, showing the utmost care to ensure every dish was crafted to the absolute best of his ability. He certainly achieved his goal—the entire meal was prepared to perfection. We especially loved the duck and seabass, which were cooked flawlessly with incredible flavor and presentation. A master chef is only as good as the wait staff, and we were incredibly lucky to be served by Mr. Wei Hung Yu, who diligently attended to us from the moment we walked in the door. If our glasses were half full, he was immediately there to top them off. When we finished one course, he promptly cleared our plates and beautifully plated the next. His attention to detail, warm professionalism, and genuine hospitality made the evening feel truly special. From the sizzling teppanyaki performance to the impeccable service and outstanding ingredients, Rainbow Cloud delivered an unforgettable, five-star experience that perfectly highlighted the best of Taiwanese hospitality and Japanese cuisine. We can't recommend it highly enough—it's a must-visit if you're near Sun Moon Lake. Thank you to the entire team for making our final night in Asia so magical! 5/5 stars!
