Authentic, Old-School, and Delicious! If you're looking for a flashy, modern spot, this isn't it—but if you want authentic, comforting food at unbeatable prices, Ramen Ichiban is a hidden gem. The vibe is wonderfully old-school and unpretentious, feeling exactly like a local neighborhood joint you'd stumble upon in Tokyo. I ordered the Katsu Curry Rice and it was fantastic. The portion size was generous, the cutlet was perfectly crispy, and the curry sauce had that deep, savory flavor you crave. It came with a nice side of soup that balanced everything out well. Looking at the menu, the prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality and portion size (most main dishes are around 150-250 THB). It’s the perfect spot for a quick, satisfying lunch or a relaxed dinner. The staff were efficient and the food came out hot. Staff is excellent with bottomless tea refills. Highly recommended if you appreciate no-nonsense, delicious Japanese comfort food! Must try: Katsu Curry Rice, but the Ramen options looked great too.
