I believe this is the same owners as “Arashiyama Japanese Restaurant”, but this location is just a few doors down and required you to enter and immediately climb stairs to enter a small dining room / sushi bar on the 2nd floor. We didn’t know there was another location on street level until after dining. We had a later lunch here at about 2:30 PM and had their set menus. The quality of the fish was 10/10 and the staff were kind. For the size of the portions and the quality of the fish, it was well worth the price. The fatty tuna will live on in my memory, and it comes with a number of side dishes! The chicken thigh skewers were very good as well.
