I honestly didn’t plan to review this place. But after the first bite, I had to pick up my phone and start taking pictures. The dishes may look ordinary, but the taste is anything but. This is the kind of simple, authentic local food that is difficult to describe in words—you just have to try it. I ordered Pad Krapao with minced pork and rice, topped with a fried egg, while my wife had the dry pork suki. Both were very, very, very good. Full of flavour, properly seasoned, and with that unmistakable wok-cooked taste. I really have no better way to describe it. The place itself is very local and no-frills—a small, old-school eatery with an open kitchen, stainless-steel tables, simple surroundings, and the cook preparing everything right in front of you. Nothing fancy at all, and that is part of its charm. The best part? Our entire dinner for two cost only around US$5. One of those unexpected finds that becomes memorable after just one meal. I already know I need to come back again—and probably many times.
