Can come here if you crave Asam Pedas (Asam fish/stingray). Price reasonable at less than $10 per plate. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: SGD 1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Prepare to interact with rude staffs there, especially the Malay ladies.Be firm when you make an order because they rush you and put up a show. Very very rude and some don’t even know simple English. And a Chinese staff ,I asked one of them to put the gravy and the side but still proceed to put on the rice. And when i asked that person why didn’t bother to follow instruction another Chinese lady intervened and said “he don’t know English” like what?! English is the universal language to communicate, if not even simple English than should I go to school learn mandarin just for them to understand ? What a joke. I see this same issue in bus drivers and now staffs as well. Disgusting and disappointing this is happening in Singapore. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Didnt expect i would give a one star rating here. This place should be one of my favourite since day 1, but the Vietnamese Guy Manager did not explain to me clearly and poor communication skills. When asked, he was very impatient and i had to kept asking how much was my plate dish which consists of one fish and a veggie. Then ke kept saying "miss you are asking about this plate which is i ask how much is an item. I dont think he gets my questions. Manager on duty at18.32hrs on 10.10.2025. I would never step in again due to the poor quality and poor communication skills which makes me utterly dissapointed and frustrated. My day went bad because of this experience. Red ginger, you can do better then this with this experience. I hereby do not wish to come ever again. Also when i ask for a plastic for and spoon, the manager did not hear me and telling me to take the metal ones at the counter. I said i hate to repeat myself. He isnt hearing what i said i wanted plastic fork and spoons! Please ensure to be attentive and manager on duty we understand that you are not good in english, but pls be attentive to know what customer wants. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
