We just completed a great stay here! It was our first trip with our baby and this resort really shines when it comes to being child friendly. Everything was provided and it made our first trip really easy and convenient. Service was excellent. In particular our butler was great and the WhatsApp service was really efficient, the waitresses at the restaurants were really friendly and kind and remembered my baby’s name. The spa staff were awesome too (shout out to Cake and Charlee). Most of the staff who drove the buggies were very kind and helpful - but there was some variability in service here. Housekeeping was very good and thorough and kind to our baby. The driver to the airport was also wonderful and located items we had dropped before driving off. We felt very welcomed and like almost everyone was doing their absolute best to make our trip special. We really appreciated all the help with baby related things too. We asked for a fridge as the room fridge was difficult to open and we got a portable one almost immediately. We also love the set up for the baby which the staff did and the free laundry for baby. The resort itself is beautiful and the rooms are well decorated. We loved our villa with a view of the sea. The room has excellent lighting. Downside for the rooms for us were the firstly the unusable tub. The bathtub is not covered and in a wall up courtyard and got dirty immediately when it rained which was everyday. Plus there were a ton of millipedes. I think an indoor bathtub or at least a sheltered one would have been much nicer. Secondly, the bed and pillows were really soft and not to our preference. It was fine because we had a baby and a buggy but it’s worth noting that the resort is on a slope and there isn’t a clear walking path separate from the buggy path so it’s not a very walkable resort. The buggy service was good and responsive but if we were travelling pre-kids the lack of independence would have grated. The spa was really good. The rooms were pretty and the therapists were really professional. However I found the prices really high (more than London rosewood!) and it annoyed me that the spa pedicure did not include any nail painting and the spa only does gel colour. The menu didn’t specify what it did or didn’t include and should be clearer about the various treatments. Food wise, there are three restaurants to pick from and we didn’t leave the resort for 6 nights so we tried all the restaurants. The staff were all so lovely at the various restaurants. They really made our trip special. We also loved the decor and vibe of all the restaurants. The food itself was generally fine to good but not exceptional or particularly memorable. Some of the dishes were a real miss though - like the Thai green curry room service was very watery and tasteless with tough chicken. I would have liked to see a more cohesive and well-designed menu with better execution for the prices paid. I feel like Thailand is a proper culinary destination and would have expected more excellence in this arena from what is one of, if not the most, pricy resort in Phuket. Location wise it’s got a beautiful view of the beach but we didn’t leave as the old town area was a long drive and we had a baby with us. It’s probably best for people who want to relax in a resort rather than explore Phuket.

It took me some time, but I finally had to sit down and compliment this incredible trip! Exceptional stay at Rosewood Phuket. Andrea, the GM, went above and beyond to make everything perfect for us thank you also for the wonderful Madrid stay Lucas, the Italian chef, delivered outstanding food quality throughout our stay; every meal was a highlight. Nutcha, our butler, was attentive and thoughtful from start to finish. The kids club was fantastic, keeping the little ones entertained and happy the whole time including a series of baking activities that kept them busy during the rain. To top it off, our stay coincided with the Champions League final, and as a PSG fan, the team made it unforgettable popcorn, a special two-star pancake (in honor of the second title), and a screening we won’t forget.
