Sand and Sea has the best italian and thai food on the Island with the nicest Staff ;) It’s a must visit on Koh Kood Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I definitely don't recommend this restaurant. We were told to wait 45 minutes for our meal, which we weren't even informed about. And when it still wasn't ready after that time and we wanted to cancel and just pay for drinks, we were tricked into paying for dishes that were supposedly already ready in the kitchen, but none of the five of us had seen them. I've never seen so many flies! We were severely bitten for almost an hour, and upon leaving, the waitress's mother, who never smiles, took out fly coils. The waitress said goodbye with a loud laugh and, in her peculiar voice, hurled several insults at us. It's a shame that such people run a restaurant in such a beautiful place. They try to convince customers that this is Thailand, so the food takes an hour to prepare. We paid 400 baht for coffee, sparkling water, Coca-Cola, and Schweppes. The coffee was served with a hand on top, spilled on a tray, and was the color of floorwashing water. This place and these people do not represent their country well and spoil the experience of the beautiful island of Koh Kood. We rarely write negative comments, only in extremely negative situations.
