The restaurant was completely empty when I walked in, but that’s not something I judge a place on what matters is the food. Unfortunately, this was the most disappointing Italian meal I’ve had in Bangkok. The pricing is already very aggressive starters and crudos around 800–900 THB, which feels excessive even by fine dining standards. At those prices, you expect something exceptional. Here, it didn’t deliver at all. The scallops (highly recommended in other reviews) were completely bland. No flavor, no depth. I forced myself through two pieces and left the rest. Easily the biggest waste of money of the night. The truffle rigatoni was average at best. Not bad, but nowhere near worth the price. It felt like something you could get in a much more casual restaurant, possibly done better. Even the basics were off. The olive oil and balsamic were completely unbalanced far too much balsamic. That’s a small detail, but it shows a lack of fundamentals. Service didn’t help. When I asked what was in the calamarata, I couldn’t get a clear answer. At this price point, that’s unacceptable. Overall, it feels like a place focused more on appearance than substance. The only reason I’m giving this 2 stars instead of 1 is because visually, the restaurant is clean and well put together. That’s about it. Ironically, the best thing I had all night was the Acqua Panna. Price per person: ฿2,000+

Personally, I found the food quite disappointing. The Hokkaido scallops were not fresh—they had a bitter taste—and they were served warm (almost room temperature) even though the dish was supposed to be crudo. Several dishes were also overly salty, especially the risotto and pasta. The main course was decent. The beef was tender, but unfortunately the sauce was again too salty. On a positive note, the service was good. The staff were attentive and always ready to assist. Price per person: ฿1,200–1,400 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
