Okay food made amazing by the really caring staff. The views improve the experience too. We got Ala carte lunch such as thai omelette, pad see ew, tom yum, and seafood fried rice. Fried rice came with frozen peas and carrots, a big no-no for fried rice in my books, and this is in a 5-star resort. So disappointing! But as a hungry traveller, I had to add a good pizza to the order. The margherita pizza came in all its cheesy goodness. It was baked to perfection, and topped with good tomato sauce and a lot of good cheese. The thai food tasted just okay, but the portion of pad see ew was so little. It was covered up by big pieces of vegetables like carrots, to mask the little portion of noodles. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿600–800

We have spent the last 2 weeks at Amari Phuket and have eaten in the Rim Talay restaurant where the food has been some of the best. My wife celebrated her 60th birthday last night and it was made very special by the staff who sang happy birthday and gave her a cake there were flowers on the table also. We have been so very well looked after by Nat, Sorn and Da. They have made our holiday always smiling asking if we had a good day and remembering our favourite drinks. Thank you all for a wonderful holiday. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
