初めてディナータイムに夫と2人で伺いました。 以前からランチには何度も伺っており、当方の期待度が高すぎたのか…今年休業を挟んでの再オープンと言う事も影響しているのでしょうか？ 接客は相手を見て、対応を考えて頂けると良かったですね、12/26と言う日程が良くなかったのか…次回があれば次回に期待します。. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

Breakfast in Sendai I usually eat breakfast at stand-up soba restaurants or cafes that are popular in the local area, and I only eat breakfast at hotels when I don't have time or other reasons. Since this day was a memorial service, the whole family finished breakfast at the hotel. My regular lodging in Sendai is the Mitsui Garden Hotel facing Higashi Nibancho Street. It's conveniently located, relatively inexpensive, and has plenty of facilities. Another great point is that there is a large public bath on the top floor and a private parking lot that is available 24 hours a day. The only dining facility is the Italian restaurant "BAROLO Ristorante da 1830" located on the 7th floor lobby floor. It is a ristorante that is operated separately from the hotel and is open to the general public for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is a Japanese and Western buffet with dishes made with local ingredients and specialties. The food is lined up facing the open kitchen, so the food is served freshly from the kitchen. Business hours are 06:30-10:00 (last entry 09:30) The price is 1800 yen per person. It was Sunday morning, so the restaurant was almost full. There was a line at the counter where the food was lined up. First, we ate egg dishes, ham, sausage, salad, bagna cauda, yogurt, milk, hamburger, minestrone, croissant, and muffin. As expected, Ristorante's minestrone is delicious. However, I was disappointed that they didn't have parmesan cheese. For Japanese food, we had bamboo kamaboko, tamagoyaki, Sendai fu, and tan curry. The curry is full of cubed tongue and is very filling. There are some local specialties here and there, but in general, they are standard dishes at hotel breakfast buffets. I often stay at regular lodgings for consecutive nights, so I might get bored if I stay there for several days. Since it's a ristorante, I was expecting a bit of Italian flavor, but the breakfast was delicious and satisfying!
