You do not need to pay Haadtien to enter this restaurant. An insane man at the front desk of Haadtien will try to make you pay 500baht per person while yelling at you. You do not need to talk to him. Tell him you’re going to Rockies. Great restaurant. Awesome view. Great access to the reef. It’s disgusting what Haadtien is doing to this area. Everyone should visit this spot. Beautiful spot for lunch! What a stunning view. The service was friendly and prompt. The food was nice, not incredible but no complaints. Smoothie was fresh and iced coffee was yum. The nearby resort want you to pay 200B to access the beach but you don’t have to pay if you only come to the restaurant. We ordered the seafood fried rice and the pancake with fruit. Generous portions and I enjoyed the amount/variety of fruit too. Recommend for a meal with a view for sure. The path is down many steep steps, not recommended or suitable for anyone with mobility limitations. We road the scooter and the road was hilly but not treacherous or worrying. Clean inviting place for a drink and access to the Haadtien sea. Buy a drink and you can access the toilet free otherwise ฿20. Food wasn’t great. Shark bay is clean, turquoise blue water and has fine sandy beach. Some rocks and corals in the water too. Water can be choppy and medium waves in the afternoon. Note: You cannot walk across from this cafe to the beach during high tide in the afternoon. Water can reach up to your chest level. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
