Ordered the burrata, but it tasted more like hung curd than authentic burrata, which was quite disappointing. The truffle cream bruschetta was nice. Among the bruschettas, the pesto version lacked seasoning, and the tomato one was quite underwhelming. The olive pizza was really good, and the Gorgonzola ravioli had great flavor, though it could have used more sauce as it felt a little dry. Unfortunately, the desserts were the biggest disappointment. The chocolate mousse wasn’t really a mousse—it felt more like a chocolate sauce with orange. The tiramisu was quite poor, with hard ladyfingers and an overly sweet cream. On the positive side, the ambience and music were excellent, creating a lovely atmosphere. The staff were also attentive and very good throughout the meal. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

This was our second visit to Romanzo Tropicale in the last two years, during our second trip to Thailand, and we decided to give it another go because we were very happy the first time. We were nearby watching the sunset at the sandbank right in front of the restaurant and felt like having pizza, so it was the perfect excuse to stop by. The terrace was already full and part of the indoor area was busy as well. There was live music playing, and the atmosphere was great, lively but relaxed, with really good vibes. We sat outside on the beach, where they have small tables with comfortable chairs, and ordered a couple of beers while waiting for two pizzas: a Napolitana and a Diavola. The pizzas took a bit longer than expected, mainly because they were prioritizing delivery orders, but once they arrived, we were more than satisfied. The quality of the pizzas is outstanding. The ingredients are clearly authentic and Italian, very high quality, and the pizzas literally melt in your mouth. The tomato sauce in particular stood out, it tasted homemade, likely made with San Marzano tomatoes. Prices are on the higher side, but considering the quality of the pizza, the Western-style food, the beachfront setting, and the sunset views on a paradise island, it feels justified. Despite the wait, I’d still give it a 5 out of 5, as it felt more like a one-off situation rather than the norm. An excellent spot for high-quality pizza with an unbeatable location. Smelly, smell like dead animal rotten corpse. I bite few spoon and cannot swallow anymore. I feel like I am eating rotten corpse. The pasta is the most smelly paste I’ve ever eaten, the disgusting smelly pasta i order is bolognese
